Against a backdrop of stronger hurricanes, bigger floods, heat and drought, innovators in communities around the world are exploring solutions to help people and communities thrive in the face of worsening extremes of climate.
So, The Nature Conservancy has joined with Rare in launching a Solution Search for ideas to cope with our changing climate. This year, the contest focuses on identifying proven and replicable solutions that use nature to help people and communities adapt to the impacts of climate change.
Longer droughts. Bigger floods. Stronger hurricanes. Rising seas. These are the impacts from climate change we hear most about, and the ones that are having the greatest impact on vulnerable people around the world.
